August 12, 2016 will mark the one year passing of our founder and former President, Steve Drain.  Please take a moment to read his wife (and former VP) Leda's letter to the Jr. Wolves of 2016.

With the start of a new season, I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for the overwhelming generosity and kindness to me and my kids during this difficult time in our lives.  The support we received is amazing and we are truly blessed to be apart of such a wonderful community.  Thank you.

I am also going to take a moment to stand on my soap box and ask everyone to remember why this program was started; FOR THE KIDS! Jr. Wolves was created to give kids a safe, FUN place to learn and grow.  It is not only about the sport, it is about them learning life lessons, making friends, and enjoying something they love.

Parents, it is also a wonderful opportunity to make lifelong friends and memories.  Some of my and Steve's favorite people are from when our boys were playing flag football.  I just want to make sure that we keep the passion that started this program alive.  Steve put so much time and effort into this program with and without his own children being involved.  H loved this organization so very much, and I ope that it will continue for years to come with the same spirit in which it started.

To the board members and volunteers that have invested countless hours and hard work into the this program to keep it going:  THANK YOU!  If you're not yet involved, please think about getting involved; there is a lot of work done behind the scenes and ALWAYS room for help.

Good luck this season, stay hydrated, helmets tight and knee pads on the knees (not the shins)!
